Honestly, and as is evidenced by the many typos in my posts, I haven't tried using it in years. Years ago, it locked up my browser and I would usually lose everything I typed. Now, if the post is more important than simply "Yes, that's right" or "No, do it this way", I'll copy it and paste it into either Word or in the body of a gmail message and let the spell-checkers there do the work. Then, depending on how many errors there were, I'll either fix them directly in the forum post (or PM) if they were few, or fix in Word/Gmail and copy / paste back. I realize it's an extra step, but since I found it to be less likely to lose my message, it was worth it to me (especially since I'm not a very fast typist).
