We all know the limitations of prices on the site. I want to update the prices in my personal collection for my own reasons. For example, my price may be what I'd consider selling it for. I don't want to submit an official price for the site because it falls outside the price guidelines established. I have a couple questions though. 1) Would others see the price I input when they are viewing my collection or the overall site price? 2) If someone else submits a valid price to the site, would that overwrite/update (using the site's existing price logic) whatever price I may have input on the card in my PC? 

We can dig through the system to find prices that members have for cards, but it's rather tedious dependng on the card and how many of each are listed in the various collections (Collection, Wants, Trade/Sale).

The overall median price will change when those are updated, but yours should not be overriden.

If you right click and "edit details" on a card you have you can enter in a grade/condition, your price and any issues etc and it will show your for sale price while also showing the TCDB price.

That's how you do it, but it won't show when others check unless you go through the "...mentions in collections" link on each card and find the owner of the card then click on the blue button.

One of my favorite aspects of this site is that while you can sell cards on this site it is geared more toward trading of cards and informationand discussions about the hobby. I hope it stays that way. There are plenty of other resources out there for buying and selling trading cards.

While it is true there are other sites that you can buy cards, I trust MUCH more the people on this one!
