I am not sure I understand your issue. You don't have to look at his list if you choose not to. I usually look for a specific card I need and then look at those matches first. As for the massive wantlist I think most team collectors have a big to massive want list. I know I do my baseball is around 150 k and my football is around 90k but that is because I have everything even the unicorn cards from my teams on it. You never know what you might get a trade offer from someday.

I don't get it either.  If it is just one person just ignore them if you don't want to trade.

Or if they actaully do have that large enough of a match of cards, why not propose a trade offer with them?  If they only want Steelers cards, where's the issue?  I've made trades with people who only collect one team before.

A better option might be an archive of some sort for members that have not logged in in the last several months (3-6). They could automatically be reactivated when they do check in (reset their clock). Too many times I find potential matches with members that haven't been active in months. 

With the Recent Matches I do not look at the list  (For Sale / Trade)  I only look at the list (Want list)   So I only see members with cards for me.  I know it is selfish.

The Recent Matches (For Sale / Trade) only stays there for 30 days.   I run close to 600 every day.  Not sure how it really works.  If I get really bored and have no matches that I can get cards for me.  I will take a quick look.  I had over 8900 cards for a member but he had no cards for me.  Bummer but I asked if he was willing to buy.  NO as he had 1000s of cards to get rid of also.  (trading cards he wanted for cards he do not want)  like all of us.

The OP is referring to Recent Matches which only involve active members.
