How should cards be actually numbered when on the card it is shown to be card 1/36, 2/36 etc... Same goes for cards 1 of 18, 2 of 18,etc.. Also some of these cards could have prefixes to them..
When you go to the Card Validation in Things To Do, It states to ..."Check that the card numbers that appear in the list match as close as possible to what's actually printed on the cards including any dashes, prefixes, or suffixes".. Would that not include my above reference ???

Admin has instructed that the "/xx" and "of xx" portions do not get added to the database.

Admin is referring to things like the following:
01, 02, 03, ...
P-1, P-2, P-3, ....
1 RS, 2 RS, 3 RS, ....
GJ-THa, GJ-THe, GJ-JaGi, ...
When we see things like "xx of 15" or "xx/500", we just need the numeric part.

I was going through. 2005 WizKids Race Day - "Racing" today. The cards are numbered 1A, 1B, etc. etc.
The cards are numbered are actually 1/28, 2/28, etc. etc. with also a reference on the back of 1 of 2, and 2 of 2 etc. etc.
Based on our previous conversation in this forum, could or should the card numbers be changed to 1, 2, 3, etc. with a Note2 reference of 1 of 2, 2 of 2 etc.. for each card. Doing away with the A, B numbering on each card ?

The a/b should be in the subnumber box since they don't appear on the cards themselves, and the "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" to identify pairings aren't needed. There are some Collector's Choice sets where the cards include individual numbering by team (e.g. "NYG1", "NYG2",...) in addition to the overall set numbers, and we don't include those either.

These are two-part "cards" to put together a paper model car. I think the "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" should go in the Note2. "VAR: parts 1 of 2" and "VAR: parts 2 of 2".

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

They aren't VARs of each other though. They're distinct cards. If you guys wanna put "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" in Note2, no problem
