Al Shaver (media) has the HOF marker https://www.tcdb.com/Person.cfm/pid/98931/Al-Shaver

He won the annual https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foster_Hewitt_Memorial_Award which is recognized in the

Hockey HOF.   Not sure if this makes him a member of the HHOF.

Some  other notable broadcasters who won the F.H Award do not have the HOF marker... e,g,

Irvin Jr. https://www.tcdb.com/Person.cfm/pid/32147/Dick-Irvin-Jr.

Inconsistent, either all or none of the F.H. Award winners should have the marker.

Not inconsistent. Al Shaver is a member of the HOF in the Media section.The rest are not members of the HOF.

I don't see Shaver listed as a member. 

Under Builder inductees:   .  "Hockey’s pioneers, executives, coaches and the sole media personality who have earned induction — bios, videos, induction speeches and galleries"   

That "sole media personality" is Foster Hewitt.

There's no mention of him in Hockey Hall of Fame official lists.
