Sorry!!  not to offend anyone with features that are not done also.  This has been around for almost 2 years.   I really think this feature would help more then just me.   It also may replace a few other feature requests.   The feature is:

Not in Any List Filter    

The pull down filters under Collection Summary on players, teams, sets and etc.   shows:

All     Have     Do Not Have     Want     For Sale/Trade     In-Transaction     In-Transit

The change I want to see happen is:   

Add a new filter   Do Not Want   Here members can put the cards they do not want to collect but is linked to their player, team, set  etc    1/1s    team photos,  Var  wrong uniform and  etc.   This list would be color coded like the others.  Maybe a light Red. Stop I do not want this card!!

Then change the Do Not Have to only cards of players, teams, Etc.  that is not listed on any of the other lists on the pull down.  As a new check list is added they will show up here and you can move then to where you want them to be  Want list or Do Not Want    This list would not be color coded as the new cards are now.    Right now it has all your wants also listed plus what you do not know is out there.  (new stuff)

The others I see no problem with them.   I do not know how all these filters effect number counts on collections so that may be looked at the same time.

So mark this feature  #1 and see if Admin will move it up on his list.    I know Admin is very busy and have a lot on his plate.  I'm just hoping to move this up a little more.

I submitted a similar suggestion and then saw your post. I proposed a do not want and a researching tag.

I currently use the in transit for do not want

I currently use for sale/trade for "researching" (unsure whether I have, trying to work out what the cards look like, or working out whether the cards exist)

I would like to use those sections for their intended purpose, but I don't want to miss seeing new checklists being added that player is included on.

Improvement that would be good for the filter is to have it on the top of every filter result to re-enter a new card number without having to go back to the filter page...you can go right from the results area.
