I freely admit math isn't my strong suit, but I don't think I'm THIS bad to not be able to understand this.
So, my collection shows 217,774. Removing the Tradlist I get to 203,569. Yet on the overall stats page it shows me at 183,948. The latter number jives more with my own personal Excel files, although won't match fully because not all the cards I have in my collection are listed on here.
So why don't the numbers match on my Collections page to the overall Stats page?
I know it doesn't really matter, but I'm getting ready to determine, for the first time ever, exactly how many cards I'm in possesion of, not just my collection, and I'd like to know what number is the more accurate one.
Thanks in advance

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I'm totally guessing...but does the 212,774 number also include your wantlist?

Another shot in the dark, but maybe the 183k is your number of unique cards (duplicates removed)?

Looks like it. Billy's "Main Collection" shows 181,961 cards in his collection and 19,548 in his wantlist, for a total of 201,509.

The big number includes your want list. Click on your "main collection" and you will see the breakdown. The number of Haves in that collection is closer to the number in the far right screenshot. And if you add in your printing flaws and college cards from your additional collections, you will probably hit that number exactly.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I think this setup made more sense before we had the multiple collections option. You would open your only collection and see how many you really have, in one place.

I don't maintain a want list or trade list as I don't make very many trades in general. I have only made a few trades here, and they were just done through messages. In fact most of them were with you Billy. I am pretty sure it would bug me too having my want list included in my collection numbers if I had a list.
Also, good to see you back Switzr- at least until next month when someone incorrectly adds 2022 Topps so we have about a month of you on the forums again haha.

Yeah I never cared for the wantlist being included in collection stats, it throws off count totals. I think if I ever get my collection current, I might use my second account just for wantlist cards and cards I'm willing to trade or sale.

I know if you go to your profile then it will show your cards in your collection including for sale/trade
