Yes, we know what Admin set as standards, but this doesn't answer Eric's question. WHY does Admin want images to be scans, scans to be so exact, etc.
Does he have a vision for this site to move beyond it's current application, or does he/she want it to be the best-looking source of material online?

Please don't take this wrong. I honestly don't know the answer and am curious. As a database, I want to see what a card looks like. It helps me match mine faster. And it helps me search eBay or wherever by glance. If the image is 5 degrees from perpendicular it doesn't bother me. I can still see what the card looks like. It's not like this is an art gallery. It's a database. I can tell this is a big deal to many, so please help me understand.
