AT the very least I wish it would list it like this.

2021 Topps

---- yellow

---- green

--------- young stars

--------- retired legends

This would allow us to see the hierarchy of base set name then list the parrallels and insert sets from the base set.

If you guys have this much problem with the way TCDB listings show up for a single set, Beckett's listings would be a nightmare for YOU!!! All the more reason that I LOVE this site so much that I ticked Beckett off SO BAD that they banned me after 17 years of membership and 14 years of paying them monthly. On Beckett, a single year of Topps cards in any sport ONLY follows ABC order. So a Topps base card Refractor parallel from the 1st Series falls in line AFTER everything from Topps A&G, Archives, Chrome, Gypsy Queen, Heritage and all the Chrome versions of those cards. Also, any insert cards follow ABC order too. At least on TCDB, you know if the parallels and inserts were in the base set or the Update set AND if they were in the other products. The way TCDB is set up is the best option of any choices you have besides just doing your own DB. I'll take the TCDB-way over every other option available!!!

I do a LOT of stuff in the background, and I don't feel like I need to post about every change I make in the forums, and I think most L8s feel the same. For example, I spent about 4-5 days updating 2002 Upper Deck and nobody noticed, which is perfectly fine with me, and I'm hoping it means we don't get any IRs about that set. I recently did over a thousand updates on 2013 Panini Absolute because people forgot to include rookie SPs and I needed to add distinguishing notes between BASE and VAR.

I love spending time helping out the site, and I'm also a sponsor of two player pages. If I was doing something harmful to the site, I would've heard about it immediately. I don't know what I need to do to earn your trust, but I'll keep doing what's needed to make this site the best.

I understand OP frustration when titles are changed.  As stated when you have your cards and excel files set up per the site.  It is a pain if any thing changes here.  I started to change my excel file to match the database but give up on it as I prefer how I have it.  For several reasons.

Being in documentation and configuring management for years.    I do not agree with some things here but willing to live with it.   (One thing for me is parallel sets  if they are parallel they should be the same cards but different in one way  SNed maybe)  As this is the best site and keeps getting better because of the members here working to make it better.   A lot of members have work real hard at it.  Some we never heard about. 

As the card companies do not really spell it out for us.  We have to assume some things.  Which may cause issues between members but so far most issues have been agreed upon.  I sure hope members do not take it personally when their ideals are not done.  As one member told me  You win some and loss some.

I'm Thankful that Admim has started and keep improving this site for all of us.  He even allows us to help him out and gives us right to do thing.  So we really need to work together and solve thing together.

I have only been on a couple months but I have never liked that sets like Ultra and Collectors Coice are listed before their parent company. SP? I know it says SP on the card and box but it really is Upper Deck SP. And don't even get me started on Donruss/Pinnacle/Leaf! The dang card has multiple names right on it!

This has been discussed at length in other threads.  The membership is divided on it but the way it is will most likely be the way it will stay. I personally don't like it but have accepted it for organizing my cards in my PC.  But if you look at my Collections, you will see "Fleer Ultra" "Fleer Flair" "Topps Stadium Club", etc.
