Pricing Problems

We have a member here who sells all commons for $0.10 baseballcardstoreca and Sportlots has a base price of $0.18. So all those commons you see here listed at $0.99 are over-valued. Ebay is not the only seller in town.

The best use of pricing on this site is for higher value cards where you can see what the current online market is as it usually has a link to the sale. But it is not an accurate gauge to the long term value of any collection. If it was I would be rich, rich, RICH!

I've never had issues with adding pricing and I do it all day everyday. ebay does not have a min value of .99 so not sure why people keep repeating it. If you find a sale for .18 feel free to enter it, nobody is stopping you from adding your findings to the site.

Not sure how the pricing system works here, but most times the pricing on base set cards is wrong. As stated earlier, common base cards can be found everyday at Sportlots for .18 cents, cheaper on other sites. Even some Ginter "SP" cards are .18 cents, but most traders still believe the beckett price, 3.00. Ebay pricing is OK for high dollar fancy cards and rookies, but not base set commons. Found about 40 of the Archives Degrom card on sportlots-

As I customarily do, I like to state facts.

Minimum pricing for an auction listing on ebay is 1 cent.

Minimum pricing for a buy it now listing on ebay is 99 cents.

Thanks for the clarification, all of you. But I want to stop this forum right here because I don't think ANYONE wants another 18 page long forum about the TCDB pricing system.
