I've been watching. I'm sure others noticed first, but held off out of respect for me, which I greatly appreciate. So now I get to announce that Gunny has his 1000th post, thus making the Forum HOF. Me honoring Gunny is a bit off, because he's been here longer than almost anyone, certainly longer than I have. That could make him one of the slowest to 1000 posts. And he has thousands of those ever-elusive points. Which means he contributes TONS to the site. As is so often the case lately, Mr. Gunny and I have not had direct interaction, but a quick look through his forum posts show just how valuable and generous a member he is, with multiple, popular giveaways, among other interesting thoughts.
Congratulations. Please feel free to shower him with praise.

(For those who like history, it looks like I started the FHOF on July 17, 2016, when it had exactly four members. It now has 30)

Gunny is great. One of the top guys - not just on TCDB. He's a great guy. Welcome (FINALLY) to the club. :) Congrats!

Gunny is amazing, and while I don't believe I've had interactions with him aside maybe from the forums, if there was an all time TCDB All-Star team, he is first team and first ballot HOF. By Gunny joining the 1000 post club, it makes it more legit. Congrats Gunny, it is an honor being in the same club as you even though you are far and away a better member than I could ever hope to be.
