While looking for other cards to post on my user list I came across a checklist that has blue plus symbols by the card numbers. 

Why is that.

So far I have noticed it on only one set and only if you open the checklist tab.

Cards with VARs, ERR/CORs.

If you click on the plus sign, the CL opens to reveal variations of that specific card.

They'll appear on sets where most (all?) of the set has variations. Other examples include late 80s/early 90s Donruss, early 90s Upper Deck and late 80s Topps stickers. You'll see a dropdown at the top of those checklists where you can narrow down the checklist to only those specific types (a copyright line, a missing decimal, a certain type of hologram, a specific back, etc.)

That's interesting as I'd never seen any sets with a + before.

I had a decent amount of Donruss to add to the site and those sets are a pain in the backside.
