I've searched high and low, the FAQs and the forums and I cannot figure out how to change your default collection.
My default collection was used for inbound trades but I don't want it setup like that anymore. I want the cards to go directly into my set. My default collection is currently empty. I don't have a delete option for it and if I try to reorder I cannot put any other collection in the #1 slot. Can anybody help me get rid of my default collection?

If your main collection is empty on each secondary collection you should be able to "move entire collection to main collection" on the summary pages if I'm understanding correctly. Done below reports is a "move everything to another collection" link. That would make that you main collection

hmmm.....so instead of setting a new default collection you are suggesting that I move all of my cards into the current default collection, rename it appropriately and then delete the other collection.
I suppose that would work. Thanks BrewrAndy!

You cannot move your main collection.
You can rename your main collection. However, all trades will go into your main collection, despite its name.
See, I have over 200 collrctions. I have cards on multiple want lists, across the collections (various reasons, but that's how I set it up). If I trade for a card that is on multiple want lists, and only one copy is coming in, which collection should it go to? What if it goes to collection #45, but I was actually planning on putting it in collection #58 this time, and next one would go in #48? The system doesn't know that, and can't know that. So Admin set it up that all transactions automatically add to the main (default) collection and that it cannot be moved.
I, too, for this very reason keep the main collection (which I left as "Main Collection") mostly empty.

Makes sense and that is similar to my original thinking and why I had it setup that way. What I was thinking of doing now however was setting up my main collection with my actual main collection and then using the 'Check Collection' feature for each completed transaction to move the cards that I want out of the main and into the appropriate collection. It just seemed like this was a more elegant approach and seeing has how the majority of cards go into my main collection anyways I would only have to worry about the odd-balls.

And that's the beauty of what Admin did here - we can set things up the way it works best for each of us. Most of my incoming cards go to various collections, so setting up any 1 collection to be the recipient of the incoming cards wouldn't work for me. If I had things set up so that most went into 1 collection, it would be very different.

Yes I renamed my Main Collection as For Trade/Sale & Wantlist. All of my PC stuff goes into my other collections. When I did a trade with Shaw Racing it was a thing of beauty. He was easily able to select the cards he wanted from my renamed Main Collection. The cards I got from him (which took my a while to select cos I am knucklehead) went into that main collection. I then deleted frmo the renamed Main collection and they shall be added to one of my other collections when I come upon them again.

I was doing this until I realized there was a better way. Like Vroomed I keep my Main Collection empty. I have a For Sale/Trade collection, Sets in Progress, Complete Set collections and a collection for each player I collect. When I complete a trade the cards come into the Main Collection. I then go into the set, click Add Update then hit the dropdown box above the list of cards and select Move all cards to [Collection and it moves all those cards into the other collection. No deleting and re-adding.

If in the trade, you only receive the one card of a particular set, click on that card, then use the "Move to another Collection" option in the card's drop down menu. Saves one step. But I do agree, this is the easiest way to take in trades and move them into their proper collection. All of my Traders are in my Traders collection. Keeps them out of the way of what I want to keep and what I would like to get.
