My bottom dollar goal is to acquire 2 of every basketball card with a referee in the background. I say that to say, when I update Wants, I typically add 2. On a recent trade, when I check my personal want list against the one on TCDB, I had many not match in the same way.

(I don't think I'm making sense.)

I Want 2 of Card A, make a trade for 1, and expect my Wants to say 1. But again and again my Wants for cards were are 0.

I don't know if I didn't something wrong in my transaction? Or if there is a "glitch in the system" that is updating things incorrectly?

I understand what you are saying and I do have similar instances in wanting more than one copy of a card. I wondered about this as well. I presently have a trade that is just waiting for final editting and acceptance by the other member.  In that trade, I do have a few cards where I need 2 but will only be getting one.  I will check to see what happens when it does get Accepted.

I have experienced this. I collect Topps flagship and update sets and I also collect a separate copy of the Detroit Tigers cards for my Team set collection. When I complete a transaction for one of the cards where I want 2, it removes the 2nd card from my wantlist. I have been vigilant of this for a few years and I have to add back the 2nd card to my wantlist after the transaction is complete. Now that I have a "separate" collection, all completed transactions put the cards received into my main collection and I have to move it after the transaction. So for me, it is a 2 step process for my Tiger team sets with trading and the transaction process.

IFF this is a thing, how would I bring attention to admin? Message? Feature request?

I would think this would be more of a message the Admin issue.  I've had to deal with that before with multiple wants and had the same issue, so I just stopped adding multiple wants of the same card.  I have done what Derek has done and made multiple collections to solve the issue, but it would be nice to see it resolved.
