I think you're missing the point. If you go directly to Admin you are unable to a) blame L8s for everything, b) get people on your side, and c) keep the discussion going because you'll have an answer you dont like.

When I have asked Admin about such issues, I have had a satisfactory resolution and / or explanation of why it is or isn't.

My opinion, these sets were better off when it was two sets, one for sticker backs andone for stickers WITHOUT all the VAR which we will never know if we actually have all of them listed or if some were "hand-made" by someone moving stickers from one sticker back to another. But others wanted it the way it is now (making a mess of everything) and I must accept it this way. I don't bring it up every week to stir the pot again and again.

Yes 1986 was deleted as well.

Somewhere in my emails, I'm sure there is one that says: If a sticker is removed, and you have a blank, the other side [the back becomes the card now]. and where the sticker was is now blank. So the following fit that criteria. I guess thats how the Sticker Back Sets were listed. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, much easier than Ed's explanation [sorry, site's explanation]. Topps, Fleer, Panini whatever. Wait till you see the Basketball mess.

It really doesn't matter to me either, other then I collect stickers and have all the sticker back sets. If the sticker back sets aren't "listed" per se,they can be in many different ways on here. Shame we have to go those routes. I think each of the following sets are pretty neat.

'80-'81 - Record of All All-Star Games and All World Series Games

'82 - NO set - Puzzle Backs

'83-'84 - Stats and Season Totals

'85 - NO set - Ads

'86 - Famous Feats

'87 - Team Logos

'88 - Team Stadiums

'89-'91 - Team Trivia etc.

At the moment it is what it is.

While I won't give an opinion on the removal of the sets, I agree 100% that any sticker with a Red Rolfe back should be added to Yankees, etc. Likewise with the year of logo backs, if they aren't already. It's now the only way to have these show in your team collections.

This conversation has solved a personal dilemma for me though. Regarding cards I have, but don't have. I'm gonna make an extra collection. Maybe two. Thanks to all of you for settling this in my mind.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
