What is the position of TCDB on this subject? Should they be added here? I bought a peel-off sheet of stamps from the post office in 2001 ... they were so nice that I never used them (see link below). The back of the sheet has a write-up behind each stamp.

https://www.tcdb.com/FAQ.cfm?ITEM=OtherCollectibles
Is it ok to add entries for other types of collectibles?
1 - Other collectibles that are inserted into packs or boxes of traditional trading cards are allowed to be listed in order to fully document the inserts that were included.
2 - Other items made by card companies, sold via card retailers, and authenticated by card grading companies are also allowable.
3 - Listing items created by third parties printed with the likeness of cards (like folders, coffee mugs, and T-shirts) goes beyond the scope of the site
Point #1 - No.
Point #2 - No.
Point #3 - N/A
What do you think from reading the FAQ?

They're postage stamps. There are plenty of postage stamp collector databases. We should not be cataloging ANY postage stamps.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm fine with postage stamps not being included on here, but I will say that if you folks haven't looked at many of them you might do a search sometime. The artwork is often wonderful (maybe some duds out there, I reckon, but whatever). And the backs of the USPS sheets are more descriptive than some cards you may have in your collection.
Just wanted to encourage some of you to take a look if the art and/or backgrounds on baseball cards is something that interests you. I really hope they come out with another MLB set soon.

Yes, I figured postage stamps was a big enough hobby to have them excluded from TCDB, except that the inclusion of those '72 Middle Eastern stamps with U.S. and Japanese ballplayers had me really confused ... and now you have an answer to that, too, got it.
Unless I overlooked it, TCDB does not carry those first day postage cancellation postcards (no great loss IMHO). Some guy would get elected to the baseball HOF and then Perez-Steele would create a postcard for it. Please correct me if I have my facts screwed up on this ... it was long ago that I was going to the Philly card shows and there was constant advertising for Perez-Steele, Perez-Steele ... yuck! Who would want this stuff? I thought the artwork was awful.
