A new one- at least for me.  I rcvd a small box of cards in the mail that DOESN'T have the Transaction number.  Not new you say?  Ha, this one didn't even have a Name or return address!! OK, I'll play- who's the DONOR.  Will have to wait until I get a bad Review or someone sends a Nasty-gram wanting to know about their stuff.

I've never noticed it in any of my trades either. And like Billy I never really considered the need since I don't trade in enough volume. I've had trading turned off for a while but I'll remember this for the future.

Each trade I send includes an index card with the trade number and a quick thank you.  Standard protocol for me...

I guess maybe I should start doing that.  Never even thought about it. 

Ditto Billy and Switzr.  I share the tracking number all the time, but hadn't put trade number anywhere.  I'll try to keep that in mind moving forward.  And the tip on having return address info inside the package is also a good idea.  Thanks to all...and apologies to all, as well.  --Kent

I hadn't been including the transaction number, but do understand where it would help if you were making lots of trades. I have started including it either inside or at the very least outside the envelope, on the back.

I won't, however, admonish anybody who doesn't use it on mine, as it has never been an issue for me.

The majority of the comments are for the inclusion of this information.  It is getting better but I still receive some that don't have it.  The last thing I do with such a trade is message the other and politely explain why it helps when his cards are received at the other end.  Happened last night. About 15 PWE trades going on right now and ntohing to identify which one it was.

I guess the easy way to get this resolved is to ask the person you are trading with to include the details you want.

Just because you do a lot of trades at once does not mean the person you are trading with does too.

To me it is incomprehensible that a person could not identify where cards have come from given the transaction system here tells you that exact information.

So in short,  ask for what you want then if it is not done have a moan at that trader. Just expecting everyone else to follow the same system you want used with no direct guidance is probably asking too much of the average person's telepathic powers.
