So it looks like some changes have been made regarding pricing. I read thru the new information and tried to enter a price on a card but nothing is getting added. I included the price, condition, date, and a link to the ebay sale. Anyone else having issues or is something else a required field?

I just tried to enter a price, and even included condition, but it's not showing up. I know Admin was working on this, and noticed the site was running pretty slow onver the course of the last hour or so. Maybe Admin is still working on this.

I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

I just posted a price from a purchase made through a TCDB transaction. The price will be reviewed.

Any idea who's reviewing the prices and how long it takes? I hope admin isn't taking this on all by himself.
I tried to see what I had in my que but that didn't seem to be working either.

I see Pricing Manager in the Things To Do area, but the link currently takes me back to the homepage. Not sure who is on the "inside" yet. Maybe it is Admin only to begin with. Would make sense. I just hope it's not too much for him - but, with enough of the good pricers adding prices right away, we can get enough of us in there to help out quickly.

For what it's worth, I like the new pricing. I think EVERY field; Source, Date, Cond., and Price; should be mandatory. Attempting to submit with any blank field(s) should get rejected.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

If we could get condition to default to NM for newer cards that would make things easier though. If we get that done it would save a lot of time for people that add a lot of prices. I agree it should be required for Vintage cards.

Are we sure the prices are being recorded? I'd hate to enter a bunch ony to find out it's not working yet.

~Rob~ Hockey set collector including inserts, ERR, COR, VAR. Knowledgeable about 1968-69 to 1994-95 hockey. All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.

I think the grading thing is hard. It's extremely subjective. A soft corner to one person could be a rounded corner to the next. I don't have a jeweler's glass and I couldn't tell you how many cards of mine could straddle the line between E and NM. What is the exact difference between a slight crease and a crease? How round does a corner need to be to be a round corner? How accurate do we need to be?
I guess I'm not really in favor of assigning grades to cards unless they've been done by a professional because some peoples tolerance for imperfect is higher than others. I think that if there is an obvious flaw, it should be noted in the card comments.
