Think it's time to put the 1982 set in Dans' hands., unless Jim wants to handle it. I've put too much time into correcting this set to have it all washed away by rules. Frustrating.
I'll move to another set.

That's what happens when rules get in the way. If it can't be down right, why waste the time? Just 1 set, I will continue working on the others with Jim.

If you're just looking for the forum to be your platform to complain I'll let you go about it.
But if you're interested in it being a place to have reasonable conversation about the site, then maybe for the benefit of the rest of the class you could enlighten us to the rules that you have apparently broken so a) we can learn from your experience or b) discuss the merits of whatever these secret rules are.

Sure, I'm game....
The 1982 Fleer Stickers have puzzle backs, these pieces make up the "1981 AllStar Game" Puzzle.
To correctly identify the many variant pieces a Picture Grid of the Game has to be uploaded SOMEWHERE on site. But according to the bosses, we can't. So, why do half a job? If a rule can't be modified for the sake of this set and many others, it's better to abandon this set and move on.

I would like to add that I proposed a very valid solution to this, however, it is being ignored.
Since the puzzle is 4 rows by 8 columns, I proposed adding "VAR: Row 3, Column 5" or "VAR: Row 2, Column 2" to Note2 to identify which puzzle piece was on the back. No rules broken, twisted, or even bent. Just straight up simplicity. Not good enough, apparently. <shrug>
Since we wanted to vent publicly for some reason....

C'mon man ! What good is the ROW this and COLUMN that without something to reference it to. This can easily be done, if there is someplace to upload a pic with the grid. Why stand in the way of progress?
NO rules affected......JUST GIVE ME A PLACE WHERE THIS PIC/GRID COULD BE UPLOADED...... OR MODIFY A PLACE TO ALLOW A SCAN, like the Trivia section or anywhere else.. This shouldn't be too difficult for the computer geeks on here. Make it happen.

If the size of the puzzle is known...and the "coordinates" are given in Note2...I really don't see how uploading a grid is any more beneficial. You could add the size of the puzzle in the Release Notes, so someone trying to piece it together knows what they're looking for and what the Note2 coordinates mean.
Bob, do you have an example of the type of grid you're wanting to upload? I'd be curious to see it, because the other unfortunate drawback I keep thinking of is the size of the image upload - it would have to be small enough to fit on a screen but large enough to show relevant details.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Hi Jason, I had the image added in the add set feature, It looked great and would have worked. It was removed because it didn't adhere to guidelines. So now, I'm just asking for a place to upload it to, it would look even better, ANYWHERE !
Some ideas, Comments, Trivia, Packaging.....Either be able now or somehow modifying to allow a scan.

Jason, I found the image at Fleer Sticker Project:
Admin would need to allow this type of thing, and then we would need to allow it for all puzzles, whether it's puzzle backs or fronts (such as the Donruss inserts of the 80s and early 90s). This winds up being much more than this one set.
