Yes I notice just now that on a trade I was offered fron a member I never heard of, that our feedback scores are on the Trade Transaction DETAILS PAGE.
Instead of having to go to the profile page and look I can look at it from the Trade Details page
A big thank you to all invilved

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I like thst new feature, although I will still look deeper into the profile of guys I have not traded with before, such as how many feedback they have and if feedback is recent.
Thanks for sharing that info.

I will agree that this is HELPFUL, however I like mzentko still look further. I will also say 100% good, recent, and many points still does not promise ANYTHING.
I am in the middle of a trade, almost a month old, where the person met the above criteria. That member, after 3 weeks, still has not shipped and will not answer emails ( I sent 2 ) requesting a shipping date.
Sadly, this seems to be a trend lately. Meaning, members seemingly in good standing, have gone to the " dark side" and really jacked up some trades here. Just read the forums. I hope this stops going forward.
I am reluctant to leave negative feedback or " out " the member in the forums, as " things happen", especially this time of year. That said, my patience is running a little thin. A simple, HONEST email would go a long way.
New rule for 2020. If we have not traded before, you ship 1st.

I like it, but don't like it. I think Mark and Joe have excellent points. At 1st glance you could have a great feedback, but really means very little if it isn't over a period of time. And likewise, new traders that don't have a feedback equity, can get burned by only one negative.
The other problem, is copy cat feedback, members that read previous feedback remarks and add to the feedback trend, good and bad.
Me, personally, am a verrrrrrrrry sloooooooooooow trader. And recently changed my personal policies until I'm near completely organized. However, I see a good offer, and not accept immediately, but keep it around. This annoys some members, although I communicate constantly to let my trading partner know my intentions. No matter anything we do will not keep, an irate, impatient, relentless and plain "bad trader" from leaving negative feedback after a trade. That's a shame. So, as we all know, it's not necessarily the way we trade but what other members feel is poor trading habits, that lead to a "bad rap" via negative feedback. Shame.

I saw it a few days ago as well. However when considering a trade I always check the person's profile page so I would already know the % even prior to negotiation.

Not sure who asked for it, but I read the request that was in the New Feature Tracker, and it is apparently working exactly as requested. It's got to be a big help, no? So you see that someone doesn't have 100% positive feedback, you can immediately know that you'll want to ask them to ship first (maybe). Or at least deal with more caution. At the very worst, you feel the need to do "little bit more research". Not sure what you want, the entire site handed to you in every page load? There's a limit to what can be pulled from the database and loaded on a page within a reasonable amount of time.
Seriously, you get what you ask for and you still say you don't like it. Unbelievable. It's amazing Admin still works on this stuff with the level of ingratitude that abounds on here.
I think those who are unhappy with this better go into the New Feature Tracker and examine what they think is "important" and figure out how exactly they'd like that implemented (if it can be implemented at all). <shakes head in disbelief>

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

I am very grateful to admin and his work, including on new feature development.
I just do not think this particular new feature would give me enough info to consider a potential new trader...however other pages of the profile give the detail I look for

I saw it the other day, noted it, figure it would be useful. I tell people up front that I am slow and so far no one has had any problems with that.
Honestly, except for a couple people, even an imperfect feedback record would not deter me from trading with someone. If it's a specific kind of feedback I would consider asking them to send first. But there are also people with great feedback that I would not trade with as well.
In the end, more information is always a good thing.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. YOU LIE. I had to message you constantly when you "forgot" to reply back. months and months go by and you send me 20 common cards from the same set. You needed a little time to get it together and I gave you almost 10 months because I gave you the benefit of the doubt. you sent me common cards and leave me unwananted negative feedback. you aren't trusted by me
I did nothing to you
