That does exist, but it came later. Although it was never stated I am of the belief that it exists because of the bad scans.
Earlier this week I had to go in and submit about 150 IRs because one particular member can't be bothered to do it right...every one had the borders of the card cut off. About 3/4ths of them were in the wrong checklist, and at least one of them was posted to more than one checklist. Because of how bad they were done, they required two IRs, one to move the acceptable front to the right checklist and one to remove the back, which was always missing parts, sometimes even the players name was cropped out.
It took me 4 and a half hours to fix this person's screwups, and that was just one set...this person has more than 600 thousand points, and has admitted in the past to posting crap scans on purpose...and even put up a thread complaining about his points going down when some of the many incomplete scans started getting removed. THAT is the kind of person who draws ire.
It will likely take literally years to get all of his incomplete scans removed. There's thousands and thousands of them infecting our site. Take a look at the gallery from 1991-92 Pinnacle NHL for some of the worst examples.
Edited due to mentioning wrong set.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Here's why I don't like the concept of stealing scans from other websites: one, it's stealing. "Thou shalt not steal" means something to me. Two, if you don't have the card in hand, how do you know the scan is accurate? Any guess, even an educated guess, is still just a shot in the dark. Three, and this may be more subjective than the first two...it robs the ability to contribute from somebody who actually has the card. Four, the people who do this tend to be more concerned with doing it fast rather than doing it right. The scans tend to be of lower quality and crooked, sometimes in the wrong checklist, etc, although that's not always the case.
Five, and most importantly...it opens us up to lawsuits. Most companies don't care, but some do. Everyone knows Beckett is always looking for a way to remove competition.
Whenever I come across a card where the back image has been copied from a base card and not taken from a real scan of said card, I ALWAYS overwrite it, no questions asked.

Armed with this information, why shouldn't a "fixer" get more credit [points] by correcting endless number of "crappy crops". I never said to deduct points from the original scanner, however, that's a good idea.!!
As far as points or no points, the whole TCDB system is based on points and longevity. So that says to me, STICK AROUND AND HARVEST POINTS. It's great to love and have time to scan your life away. But some, like me just want to reach the top level, that's it. I'm at a point where I can add 1000s of cards without scans, but I'm at a point where correcting is easier than adding. What's wrong with that.?
I've asked many times , What is the best way to add points? Correcting scans seemed "up my ally" but 1 pt. for each crappy scan doesn't seem it's worth it. I'll never reach the magic "1000", maybe ADMIN would allow a Point Donation Program. .

Wow, I guess I hit a nerve! My intent was not to upset anyone, I merely wanted to call attention to a problem I was seeing and to offer a thought for everyone to discuss. I failed on the last part: I was trying to suggest that it be required to upload both images - front and back - at the same time. It seemed to me that this process would cut down on the number of incorrect scans.
I know that many people do the work for the points, but I was unaware that as many people are incredibly passionate about those points. To those that are, I apologize if I offended. That certainly was not my intent.

My Cardboard Habit PC'ing Matt Harrison, Rusty Greer & anything Texas Rangers PLEASE NOTE: I am currently reorganizing my collection at the moment, so I will not be trading until I have everything in the system. Thanks for understanding!

I will trade my points for wrestling cards

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
