My few quick thoughts:
1. Thank you to everyone who contributes positively, whether or not it earns them points (scans, checklists, IRs, etc.)
2. It would be nice if the few (and I want to stress few) folks who are consistently responsible for submitting the vast majority of poor scans could have their privileges removed (after one or more warnings), though I understand if Admin doesn't want people to be too intimidated to provide scans
3. Otherwise, if those folks don't realize that their scans are detrimental to the site, is there a way to explain it to them without calling them out publicly? I can't tell if they're oblivious that their crooked/modified scans (and photos) are mostly useless, or are lazy and don't care

I don't think anything here was directed at you. "Point Earners" are always welcome and from what I've seen of your contributions, your additions are top notch and don't cause additional work that others have to come back later and fix. Just having acquired a lot of points does not make you a "farmer" as vrooomed so eloquently stated in his most recent post in this thread.

That still sounds like earning, not harvesting, to me if the images you uploaded were correct (and it sounds like they were). The problem with the harvesters is that they're creating more work for everyone else by mass submitting incorrect images, or, for example, not bothering to take a few seconds to straighten their crooked scans so they can upload more cards for points. To me, what you described sounds more like an efficient way to get things entered.
As for your concern about points, I understand not wanting to lose them just because of a few bad apples, which is why I think those folks should lose their ability to approve images if they don't follow the rules to an egregious extent. Am I crazy or is there something when you're tested for each permissions level that states something like that can happen?

CAD, in my opinion, you're one of the best contributors on the site Your scans are top notch. Your checklists are accurate. Also, the "take away the points" idea comes up every couple of months, but Admin has never acted upon it. I doubt he ever will. The views of a few angry members seldom line up with the views of Admin. I think your 66k are safe.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
