Not ranking on anybody, but here's where we fall slightly short. I'm not sure who has permission to add to the FAQ page. But it should be constantly upgraded as situations popup.
There have been 3 areas, could be more, that has had replies from ADMIN or at least L8s:
1. Other Collectibles
2. Pricing
3. Imaging
These areas have created endless threads with suggestions, comments etc. So here we are again as Lea DeFoote noted, discussing the same old issue, a link was supplied to address the issue directly from ADMIN, Why isn't this added to the FAQ? for clarification. So i suggest that as soon as ADMIN replies with a solution to an issue, immediately add it to the FAQ page. Makes good website sense.

Bob, I really do think the FAQ for images is sufficient:

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Are we all stealing all of these images from Topps, Panini, etc.?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I loved the reply from admin in the other thread. LOL Yes I was irate and it still bothers me however since that day I have not said a peep. As for the ones mentioned here yes they should be removed. I still feel very adamant that any "single" images added should be removed as well. That proves it was pulled from another site. If the uploader does it with cards that have a front AND back so be it. The single image rule, I feel, should be implemented AND enforced.

Except for some vintage cards where the front or back was marked and therefore did not meet the rules in force. I have some O Pee Chee baseball from the 60s that I couldonly load the one side due to the other being marked in some way. But yes, this new stuff, IMO own it or don't bother.

Dan, the guidelines, don't come anywhere close to what ADMIN said in that reply. Just sayin. It was quite detailed . I believe if the FAQ page was updated more frequently these issues could at least be explained. And lighten the burder of answering over and over again, help out the hierarchy.

100% true. But they also precisely say what is expected of the image that is uploaded.

Yeah, I'm with Bob. The guidelines say nothing about not downloading from other trading card sites or books. Or that using eBay pictures is okay, on the flipside. Don't get me wrong, I loathe overly burdenly regulations and guidelines, but linking any relevant Admin answer to a thread after a "For more information see...." seems like a useful, and possibly necessary, addition.
