I use OpenOffice almost exclusively. It has worked great for me for building checklists to upload here.

Before you upload a checklist, be extra sure to choose the correct version of XLS when you're saving your file. In OpenOffice Calc, it will be the "Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls) (*.xls) option.
Also, something I have learned is to be sure empty cells are truly empty. If a cell has a space in it (say, in the Team field), a space will be imported as the team name resulting in it overriding the team drop down list. You would then need to go back and edit each card in the set to set the team, either by removing the space and typing in the correct team name, or by removing the space and saving, which will give you the team drop down menu back.

Looks good, though I notice you didn't import the team name. It may seem redundant for a team set, but it helps when people are searching by team.
On another subject, connected to how you numbered, I would like to get some kind of ruling or rationale from out Admin on the benefits, or lack thereof, of using anything other than simply "NNO" for unnumbered cards. I used to do that, mostly out of habit from importing sets at SCF where the card number field had to be unique due to limitations of the database used there. But TCDB doesn't have that limitation, and I've taken to just using "NNO" for any cards without numbered instead of incrementing that down the whole checklist. I'm just looking for input or clarity of this approach.
