I've thought up something new...this one should be pretty easy to do if you decide to!

Earlier today I went in and posted scans for every card in the 1976-77 Topps Basketball set. Previously, it had only 1 front and 2 backs scanned in. I noticed, when I was adding the back to the one card that had it's front entered, that it had been featured as card of the day back in 2008, and that got me wondering when the two backs had been entered, and then I started thinking about all the other cards that were posted before I discovered the site.

So...would it be possible to have the date the scan was added in the stats box for the cards? Where it now says "front added by Billy Kingsley" I'd like to see it say "front added by Billy Kingsley on 1/15/13"

Sounds like an interesting idea.  Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to go back and put that date in for the older scans, just the newer ones.  It could be fun anyway.

There are many cards that were scanned in before but we still have an option to submit new scan. Many times that wmight overwrite the old scan.

I actually had an idea that may have only interested me, but when I select a set and see which cards have been scanned by members, I have no way of knowing WHICH cards I may have scanned in the past. I know you have a contributors link to tell how many people have scanned how many cards, but I'm always trying to find which cards/players I added to the database. Again, not a big deal, but I always try to remember which card scans I contributed.

I have wondered about that myself. I know the first scan I posted was a card front in 1971-72 Topps basketball but I don't remember which one. (I've posted over 100). I figure I will find it eventually when I scan the card backs and see the date I scanned the front. In sets where a lot of different people contribute, it would be fun to see what each person contributed.
