Been over a month or more since i inquired about paying for comm. free access without paying fees to make a payment, must be getting a kickback from paypal....

Well ive had enough BS dealing with the ads slowing me down and truly believe admin doesnt G.A.F. about me & my problems.

My e-mail address is thetyrant24@aol, if i dont hear from admin in 3 days, you can remove me and delete my lists & ill move on to somewhere else that hopefully WONT IGNORE ME !!!!

I do appreciate ALL the help ive gotten from members but these %#$^#@ ads are driving me NUTS slowing me down sooooo much

Did you use the "Upgrade to Premium" tab at the bottom of the page?

When I used the Upgrade to Premium, which Jason suggested, I never had to pay fees.  The $5 came off my debit card monthly, if I remember right.  I'm not currently a paying, ad-free member, but I was in the past.

Yes and the only option was going thru P.P. and im not paying a monthly fee to upgrade every month, not paying ANY P.P. fees.

First, I only pay fees to Pay Pal when I receive money through auctions or if someone pays for "goods".

Second, you do realize that you're asking for a method of paying for ad-free access to be designed specifically for you, right? You're asking for a special exception. And you're getting upset over the fact that someone hasn't bent the system to suit you?

Just wanted to make sure we all had the same perception of the situation.

I've been a paying member for quite awhile and I've never paid a fee to paypal. 

I don't have Premium, but PayPal fees are charged to "sellers", not "buyers".  I would assume TCDB is the "seller", not you.

Also, I just checked, there are three payment options; debit card, credit card, or PayPal.

The OP is really misinformed because as others have said you only pay paypal fees if you are collecting money. Can someone inform me? Is this pop up issue only if you are using your phone? I spend most of my time here on my computer and don't have ads popping up but I have noticed them the little bit when I navigate on here with my phone.

My last point. I don't think anyone is purposefully trying to ignore the OP but if he/she thinks threatening to leave the site is going to help the matter they are quite mistaken. They really just come acrossed as a bit of a tool. My experience has been this has been a great site and I don't get the posting on here a if I don't get a response, I'm gone. I guess goodbye to you then. I won't lose any sleep over it.

I'm not trying to stir up any trouble. The OP just came across as pretty harsh.

I just checked my Paypal account again. I signed up for premium with a specific amount each month. That exact amount, WITH NO FEES ADDED, has been deducted from my balance for at least the last three years. No problems, no fees and no ads.
