Hi all,
Just thought I'd share that I finally reached a personal collecting goal of 2,000 different Longoria cards from 2006 - 2014. All cards are scanned into the TCD site. I've personally scanned in over 1600 Longo cards!
Always been I big Longoria fan and card and memorabillia collector of his. Fine player and great character guy. Also cool that he has stayed with the Rays his whole carreer.
Love this site and enjoy tracking my collection via the tools here.
Kind regards,
Jeff

Congratulations, that is quite an accomplishment! I have noticed as I have been going through the editing of Topps Triple Threads and Topps Tribute Series how many scanned images there are of Longoria, particularly on the Autograph and Relic Cards.

I was wondering who was adding all the Longoria cards. Every time I looked at a set that was basically empty, there was always a Longoria. Good job!

That's really cool. He played around the corner (literally!) for the Hudson Valley Renegades (for a very brief moment before getting promoted), so I'm a fan as well. But I blinked, and didn't get the chance to see him here. I have gotten the chance to see a bunch of others who are also with the Rays (or other MLB clubs).
Congrats on your milestone. That's a lot of cards!

Thanks for all the congratulatory remarks!! I really appreciate it! Sold off all my vintage cards about 10 years ago or so when I was between jobs. Nothing to exciting, mostly late 60's early 70's. Then after a I got reestablished career wise, I thought I'd get back into collecting just a little bit. Figured I'd just collect a player as to not get overwhelmed and Longoria seemed to fit the bill.
I was totally caught off guard by all the different companies that were now in play not to mention all of the parallels, short prints, inserts, etc. I was thinking I'd be in it for about 30 cards or so. Well, 2000+ cards later, here we are!!
Thanks again!

What a fantastic accomplishment, congrats. I'm still plugging away on my Keyshawn Johnson collection (my biggest player collection; 560 cards I think, last time I looked).
