It would be nice to have a spot for gaming card like poke-a-man and so on. i think a lot of poeple would like that, i got aless 10,000 of the gaming cards.

 there is a place. There's a section called ccg in the non sport section. Pokemon has their own section currently and I was thinking that maybe putting pokemon yugioh and magic into that ccg section might be a good idea. As for a separate category like baseball non sport and racing, I dont think that would be necessary.  They qualify as non sport and honestly, non sport is having a tough time competing with sports as it is.

That what i meant have all the gaming cards not just one all two??

I have been on a non sports kick as of late with a purchase of a box of 1979 "Black Hole" cards. I've also added two (2) GI JOE gaming sets. Since then, I've noticed just how many different sets there are out there and I think it's great. Maybe having a TCG section would be beneficial. Wouyld that mean having to resubmit sets?

 i believe it wouldn't be difficult to transfer links and such.  the cards already have a page so it's just a matter of transferring the access to the URL to a different location.  If they can transfer scans to a different location in 30 seconds, what we're talking about wouldn't be that difficult at all.  it's whether or not the admin thinks it would be a good Idea to create a CCG or TCG category.  Also, we would have to be vigilant to notify admin of every instance where we find a TCG in the non sports section so they can be aware of it.

Please define CCG and TCG for those like me who have no idea what you're talking about?

CCG means Collectible Card Game and TCG means Trading Card Game.  Really they mean the same thing.  The only thing that I can think would be different between the two would be that Pokemon, Yugioh, and Magic are being played currently so they are Trading Card Games while games like Star Wars and Star Trek are not currently being played in large groups or at conventions thus making them Collectible.  That is just my guess though.  Anyone else know of a reason we use two different abbreviations for the same thing?

CCG was the term coined for magic by wizards of the coast, which wanted people to pay for the rights to use the phrase, so some companies called theirs TCG, but their is no real difference.  It is just how the company designates it in the first place, there are star wars CCGs and a TCG.  Now days CCG and TCG are more generalized terms that cannot be copyrighted due to common usage, I believe.  There are also LCGs, living card games which are games that are released in factory sets,  where you get a specific set of cards.   There are also CMG, which come both as miniatures, heroclix, and punch out cards, rocketman.

 Don't fret too much.  You won't be alone here.  Quite a few of us are happy to find new and exciting things to add to the database.  I'm just happy they were open to diversity!
