Props to Edk for a piece of Alvin Dark memorabilia I received in the mail today. A nice ticket stub commemorating Dark's tenure as manager of the Giants. It was greatly appreciated and it will become part of an eventual display of Dark in my office.

The blessings continue as I received a 2014 Topps 1965 Buyback #164 Al Spangler from rmpaq. I really appreciate it. It will be included with the other 1965 Topps Astros team set. I've decided not to remove the gold foil Topps put on the card to commemorate the set's 50th anniversary. It will be the adopted sibling.

Add jasongerman9 to the list of those that have blessed me in my quest to complete Astros team sets. Got a shipment today and the Want List gets whittled by 18!

I didn't know this topic existed. C2Cigars recently sent me some unexpected Paul George cards that came in Gatorade. Nice additions to my Pacers album. I don't buy Gatorade, so I didn't know they existed!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Be nice to have some addresses so that I can send some cards to some fellow collectors.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I actually started a word doc with the member name and address of everyone I have traded with the last few months.

I always worry that people move and I want to confirm the address so it would be less of a surprise - quick thought that I haven't flushed out yet myself, but would there be a want to have your mailing address available in your information on here. I would think it would have to be limited to "friends" or otherwise have the ability to manage who could just see it.
I believe right now, you only see the mailing address on open and accepted transactions.
Any thoughts?

Not an awful idea, especially when it is limited to friends. I mean, we are all putting our addresses out there to users who may not be listed as "friends" when we enter into a transaction. I like the idea for things such as this; it's always nice to receive cards unexpectedly, and it's even better to send them to someone. Commish and Billy, I hope you enjoy.
Side note: I've started a small spiral notebook of addresses for this purpose as well. Same as a word document, just a different method.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.
