Thanks to Julio (jc645) for the Storm cards & a couple '89 UD holograms to finish off a set! No need to "pay it back" for the CYOA prize, but I appreciate the "choice" you made in doing so.

Saint Orm:
Just wanted to say thank you for sending the cards..... the Musial card looks sweet, and as a long time Sox fan I was thrilled with the Colson Montgomery card.
Thanks again!

A giant thanks to NJDevils (Joe), one of the elite PIF Masters, for the 1987-88 Topps Hockey cards I received yesterday.
For an unknown reason I've targeted 1987 as one that I'm hoping to collect as many sets as possible in the four major sports, and he helped me get to over 70% on the Topps hockey set.
Joe, may you be blessed beyond the kindness and generosity you've shown.

WOW.
FreehanSolo comes in and drops a mega-package on my doorstep, not just with cards but an assortment of collectibles in general (including some periodicals that I still need to work my way through).
Thank you, my fellow Michigander!

Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I was fortunate enough to receive 3 PIFs this week.
@sanjosefuji - was kind enough to send me a bunch of Tony Gwynn cards. Super thoughtful, and love his blog! Thanks Fuji!
@FreehanSolo - sent a box of assorted goodies - some already known, some not (including my first Phillies 1/1!). Thanks Dennis!
@FiresNBeers - sent a box full of painter's tape - I mean cards (some of various sizes). Thanks Brian!

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Similar to yankeefan714 above, a big Thank You to whoever (whomever?) sent us an excellent envelope of cards! I was hoping to find a hint on the envelope but I threw it away already.
Anyway - thank you to yet another awesome member of this community!

Hey guys, I'd like to hop on the PIF train, but I was wondering what's the best way to do it, especially in terms of getting someone's address.
Do you send them the trade request? I suppose it's the smoothest way, but it kinda ruins the element of a surprise. I was thinking about PIFing some of my previous trade partners, but their addresses are hidden once you mark the transaction as complete.
Any advice would be appreciated!
