I got my Pacers box break cards from C2Cigars today. He was even good enough to execute a trade between me and another member before he shipped (we both knew we had doubles from our teams), so I got one less dupe and one more need. Then, he threw in some dupes that must have been leftovers from an Archives baseball break I wasn't involved in. What a guy. Thanks, Chuck!!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Not saying this as a negative, but actually as a positive, but if we start naming names of all the good people on here, it's going to be a really, really long thread. :)

Wanted to put out a shoutout to Junior64144 who graciously sent me out 61 extra cards in an effort to help getting me closer to completing some sets. Thanks so much for the wonderful extras.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

A sincere thanks to aint56cool for a small PIF included inour most recent large trade. I highlight this one because, even though small, he took the time to find specific cards that completed a couple of sets that I had near completion and added to another set.
And a huge thanks to Chuck even though technically not a PIF as the cards were offered in one of his "breaks". As always Chuck, your generosity is very much appreciated.

Greg aka bobfetta thanks for the Hawks and Sox PIF of cards and stickers. Much appreciated. It seems that I have lost my crown as Hawkking some time in the last 3 days. A member now has over 8000 Blackhawk cards listed in his collection. No idea what happened and I now sit as the first runner up. It's a hard pill to swallow. The strive continues though. Thanks again Greg.

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox.
