I've been thinking about starting a thread where everyday someone could pick a member at random and send him or her some cards from there wantlist. Could be a few cards or more. There are so many new members loading their wants but the problem is you don't have their address's. Or you could pick a member who you have already traded with since you already have their address. I am going to start by asking someone who i get notifications from for their address and send them some cards. If not I'll pick someone else. Let's see if we can keep this thread going. Post on this thread who you are going to send to.

I like it. I don't know who I'd send to, and I sell my doubles off pretty quickly, and I'm just not that nice. But I'll say this: If anyone sees things they want on my sale/trade list after 1980, I'm happy to just send them to you. Shipping on me.

Sounds like a good idea. I have been in contact with Detfan6897. He has provided his name and address. Hope to mail on Tuesday.
Hopefully we can keep this thread going.

The only thing about addresses is that I noticed they get removed after the deals have been logged as completed. I had started keeping their envelopes for a similar reason.

Well, I already had both packages set up before I saw this post, but I do love this idea. I sent P-town Tom from the Eamus Catuli! blog (not sure if he's on this site or not?) a little PWE today, and I've got a bubble mailer ready to go to Billy as soon as I can get down to the post office; hopefully sometime this week!
There's something gratifying about sending cards to others. It's first of all a good feeling to be downsizing my collection into something that fits my personal wants better (rather than collecting everything like I used to as a kid growing up, I'm focusing more on player collections and maybe some set builds). Plus it's great to see cards going to a home where they will be a valued piece of a collection, rather than just sitting in a binder or a box in my closet. This is a fantastic program and idea.
-------------------------------
Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards
