always a pleasure to see history in the making - whether you love them or not. we always heard our parents or grandparents talk about the ol days, like how about them phils, Mets, dodgers or yanks of old.. now we can sit around years from now talking about them 2016 cubies.

There was no stopping the Cubs this year, for sure. With that great young nucleus they have there, they should be good for years to come. Congrats to all Cubs fans.

Congrats to the Cubs and their fans.
I'm not much of a baseball fan, but I agree that it is great to see history in the making. Now, let's see if Cleveland can break the Cubs' record in forty years or so.....LOL!

Congrats to all the Cubs fans and baseball fans in general. It was nice to see history in the making and the Cub win the World Series. It was even amusing to watch the game and my wife who does not even follow the game, but is a Red Sox fan like myself get overly excited and started yelling at the TV telling the player to run faster. Go Go Go.
108 years is a long time between World Series Championships. Like the Red Sox no longer have to wait till next year.

What a great game to watch. I am so happy for the Cubs / Cubs fans. They have assembled a great team. Sad for the Indians. I really would have been happy either way. An amazing end to a great series.

WOW What a Game 7 of the WS. Congratulations CHICAGO CUBS 2016 WORLD CHAMPIONS!
Yeah that is an odd one to digest. Well deserved. Personally I think the Cubs should have taken things last year (to fulfill the "Back to the Future II" prediction) but those darn Mets bested them, and promptly lost to the Royals.

Thank you. Cubs fan for the last 45 years here. This year, I posted theur record on Facebook with a comment after every single game. I was all-in from Day 1. Predicted Cubs over Giants in 4, Cubs over Dodgers in 6, and Cubs over Cleveland in 5 (oops).
What a fantastic season and series to end the wait for all if us Cubs fans. So much fun and joy out of a stupid game. My W will be flying in DC for awhile.
