For those of you who sell on Sportlots, I have some newbie questions.
1. How long did take before you started seeing a consistent flow of orders?
2. Shipping: what postage structure works best from your experience?
3. How do you determine prices for cards above the default value of $.20? Is there a way to see the median price of cards without having to search for nearly every one?
Any advice to this fairly clueless newbie is much appreciated.

I've been wondering the same. Some of the non-base I usually use 130point to get an idea.
But I haven't gotten a single thing so far - but I am slowly listing.

I've had 9 orders in five weeks. Quiet for a bit so I'm wondering if I've set everything up the best way.

For me Sportlots is hit or miss, If there are other sellers with the same cards it is harder to sell. The fee's are crazy unless you are selling a lot of cards. I took down my inventory and trying to decide what to sell on the sites. IMO experience high dollar cards do not sell. I sold a $55 dollar card and did not get close to half of that amount.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I did sell one SN card. I know the fees are crazy but I figured some money is better than none. No one really buys on here, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I buy cards on TCDb in both PWE and in bulk. I usually make an offer less near or a little less than the price on Sportslot.
In most cases Judge pricing by my desire for the card, number I am looking for and availability. TCDb is my first choice, Sportlots second, and Eek-Bay third.

Just sharing a buyer's perspective: for buying on sportlots I take advantage of the sportlots box option if possible. If a seller doesn't offer discounted shipping rates to the box, then I will look for another seller that does.

Interesting, I didn't think the fees would be as bad when reading the How To. I haven't looked at COMC for unique singles. And eBay is just a little scarier these days it seems - but I have whole unique sets that I can't sell on COMC or Sportslots. Especially if I have auto's or something I want to offload - the landscape for cards is so different than it was 10 years ago. My main hesitation is having someone buy, I ship and they request a refund.

This is good advice. I also consider whether or not they offer SL loot.

Since you bring it up, what is SL loot? I believe I've accumulated some.
Is it credit you can use with the same seller that awarded it?
