What do you think about cards where it is supposed to be your PC player but it actually shows someone else on the card?

I do, I PC Barry Switzer and the other day I found a Clemson card that mentioned on the back that it was the last game he coached for the Sooners so I bought it lol

I don't except, the team cards with the manager bubble picture for Zimmer on 77, 79-81. There are enough oddball items to keep me chasing a lifetime. I have about 100+ different PC.

I'll pick up cameos and team cards. And even their parallels. If my PC guy is pictured on a baseball card, I would like to have it. But only if they're cheap.
However, I draw the line at "mentions", where only the name appears. We all have to draw the line in the sand somewhere!

For my Dale Murphy collection, I get anything with his picture on it. League leaders, team card, cameos. I do not get checklist cards with just a name. I do however get some the Sportflics and score trivia cards that have him featured. I guess we all have to settle on our level of crazy. Haha

I struggled with this exact conundrum this week. 2016 Topps Bunt is listed as a Mike Trout card, cause there is a tiny picture of him in the corner....... is it a Trout? Technically Yes as it counts towards the collection, but unless it is specifically focused on the player or players referenced in the card, i.e. team cards, or Topps new checklists, I avoid if possible.

If it's on one of my PC player's list here I add it to my wantlist.
I must admit some of the team photo cards and the like don't exactly float my boat but my OCD requires I add them to the wantlist and collection anyway!

If the HOF player, or the fav player, has both his name and picture anywhere on the card, then yes I'll add it to my HOF PC, or to my fav PC
If both HOF players, or one fav and one HOF, show up on the card, then I will decide to put in either player's section.
If only a name is mentioned, or only a photo is shown, in a checlist or team card, then then I'll still keep it, but not in my PC.

I love seeing my guys on cards they're not named on and will collect them as well. To one up that I'm a Cubs fan, and although I may not collect the cards, I get a great joy from seeing other player's cards that were taken at Wrigley Field. That ivy brings a lot of class!
