Had that happened a few years back a large trade was going to Canada. After a month We both decided to give it another week or maybe it was two, but still nothing. I filed a missing package repost here in America and he did the same in Canada. 2 months later I got the e'mail that it was found and damaged. I asked what happened and told them to send it back to me. I Added my mailing address to the message. I got a message 2 days later saying it was being shipped back to me and if I needed to file a claim to get back to her. She also has a link in the message saying your box was found here. It was a news report from the state of Georgia of a mail truck that had overturned on the highway. I watched it a few times looking at everything on the road to see if I saw baseball cards. But I saw no cards or a long card box. It was at night and hard to see. The driver lost control in a heavy downpour. It was less than a week and I had it back. it was in a big bag now. The face with the address was unreadable. It had been scraped off and the end of the box was crushed and broken open and taped up with some cards loose in the bag. I was surprised to see all the cards were there with only two being damaged. I had extras. So not a problem. I reboxed them and took the letter that came with the package to the post office. That letter explains what happened and gives you free postage to send it again.
You have to fill out that missing mail report. It gives them a description and they have a list of descriptions of lost mail. Making it easier for them to find. Missing mail will sit on a shelf for 6 or 8 months, I forget what she said the time was. Then someone will try to make out the address to see if it is listed and send it and check the missing mail list for the last time. The next day it is marked to go into an incinerator. It is free to file the report and you can do it on the interweb at home. Filing that report saved them cards because the address was unreadable and the Customs Declaration was gone. The box had just over 300 cards in it.
What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)
