Hi,
What's your favorite card in your collection? The one card you care more about than any other card. Also, why is it considered your favorite?

HumbleNessie,
Do you have a favorite card? One that you liked as a kid?

I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

lol
vrooomed,
Do you have a favorite card to contribute to this thread?
Does anyone here like to contribute to the topic of this thread? Or do you wish to pile on me as well... because it's ok, I can take it. 😀

A search of the Forums for the words "Favorite Card" will reveal many past threads discussing favorite cards (some more popular than others), as well as favorite sets, favorite websites, favorite teams, etc.
Generic collecting topics like favorite cards, coins, and collecting strategies have almost all been discussed in the past on this site. As I stated in a previous reply to a post of yours - do your research. Questions and discussion are fine, but seeing the same topics rehashed again and again is tiresome and shows a lack of initiative to help yourself.
One could also argue that you are engaging in "flooding", which is against the forum rules, and quite rude to other members.
Please keep these things in mind on any future posts you may make.

Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Normally I would not respond to your inquiries as most have been asked before, some many times and others recently, however this one hits close to home (figuratively not literally). At the end of the year, in each of the last couple of years, we vote for cards to be inducted into the TCDB HOF. My favorite card both as a kid and now is the 1974-75 OPC WHA #1 The Howes, and I can't believe this card has not made it in yet! Maybe someone will read and remember this post in a few months when the time comes for the next vote?

You should really learn more about this site, on your own, without asking for the hand-holding.
Many members here have user lists (which can also be searched).
I have 2 such lists:

https://www.tcdb.com/List.cfm/lid/6415/My-5-favorite-baseball-cards-(non-Phillies)
Enjoy the reads.

I'll bite. My favorite card is my 1993 Topps #98 Derek Jeter RC that I had signed in-person by the man himself back in 1995, The car dealership that my folks leased their Mercury Villager mini-van from apparently gave him a good deal on his Ford/Lincoln/Mercury and got him to do some signings for 2 years and we got invitations. Nobody cared back in '95 and it was just me and my dad with Derek who talked with us for like half an hour while he signed my banged up cards and little league baseballs I brought. We went back next year of course and had to wait in line for like 2 hours but at least we got some real Rawlings MLB baseballs signed that time.

Ok, thanks to those who have so far posted their favorite cards, and to vrooomed, that was really good reading on the 10 Phillies and 5 baseball, thank you.
And to anyone else, if you wish to contribute, I would love to read your favorites as well.
