Great article. I opened my first pack of cards in 1970 at ten years of age. From that point on, it was a hobby that got my father and me to spend hours together. I miss those days. The "hobby" today is not the same at all. It seems to me that there are more investors than actual collectors out there. I still collect Topps flagship sets and work to complete those sets. The inserts are worthless to me. (unless they are Cubs!) I use them as trade bait to get the cards I need to complete sets. Now... get off my lawn!!!
