Yeah, it's possible the second hand signature could be a fake tracing, but I doubt it, because the card came with a few other cards of different players, and those had hand signatures on them as well, but they were on regular non-facsimile-auto cards.
I might send in that whole bunch just to authenticate everything. I can't tell the difference between a real auto vs. a fake, and I don't really mind spending money to find out.
Ok, as to the question, what if both were not professionally graded, however, someone shows you a raw card that you really want, but shows you two copies of it. One copy looks perfectly gorgeous but with no auto, and the second copy has a real auto but looks fairly worn-out. So, which one would look more appealing and valuable to you?
