HellsCollect,
Yeah, I'm still trying to focus my strategy, but when I gravitate towards value and quality, I mean those cards where I feel confident that even in a financial emergency where I absolutely have to get rid of them, then I can aways sell them for at least $100 per card.
Like I will enjoy collecting them, but if I have to get rid of them for some reason, then it will be easy to do so, because they will be of high quality and valuable.
So, I'm thinking of focusing on graded vintage HOF or RC, where I feel confident that the wider collecting community will see these cards as objectively valuable. Like on eBay auctions, where you get a lot of bids on a card, then that suggests value and quality to me.
I can also have other strategies, like collecting by sets or my favorite teams and players, but my main and most valuable collecting strategy will be the graded vintage HOF or RC.
But that's just me, and everyone is different.
