I'm thinking of putting some of my completed sets into binders or at least reorganize them in their boxes by having the two teams that competed in the World Series first, then teams after that organized by win percentage within each league. Each team's players in alphabetical order.
This got me thinking about cards and their year of production. A year's set of cards is actually a record of the previous year. So, for example, 1983 Topps is actually covering the events of the previous 1982 season. However, the players are represented on their current 1983 teams, correct? Am getting this right?
Also, is this where the Traded sets come into play to cover the gap between years?
Thank you for any help on this.
