AnalogKid, We've only had one "trade". I use the term "trade" loosely, because it was you who initiated the exchange by answering my forum call for help to complete my 2022 Topps set. You sent a very generous offer of cards heading my way in exchange for NOTHING in return. My first reaction to that is "this site member is quite an awesome person to do that". Then, my second thought is "how can I help them out with their collection and send something in return?" So, I went to your profile page and saw you collected Tony Gwynn. Sent a counter with some Gwynn cards attached. I felt it was the right thing to do for such an outpouring of generosity.

I've sent a few PIFs of entire 200-300 card sets out to members over the past couple of years and haven't gotten a shoutout in the forums. I chalk it up to folks being busy. I see those same folks posting in the PIF forums often, both sending and receiving, so maybe they are paying it forward.

Don't let the bad members chase you out of here. Hope you stick around.

(The english is not my first language but i will try to explain my point of view) We haven't trade together but i understand perfectly how do you feel. I didn't know what was a PIF before to read this post. Sorry to everyone who trade with me cause i dont send PIF often but i always tried to be generous and to make fair trade and never forgotten to put a positive feedback and to thank everyone to help me to find the cards missing to my collection. I never liked when trader don't answer to my offers and decline without say something or let me wait during 6 month and more. Its true, some people are really not fait and i try to back to my best traders. I think they are really many good people here and a few bad or selfish people like every society. But its really important than this POST mention that problem. And maybe some unfair people will change after read that post. I hope so. Thanks to consider the willing of each one on this post to ask you to stay with us. Cheers.

Wow.  I just joined the site to try and maintain a better database to all my cards im slowly adding to it now but i got thousands of cards i need to catalog.  I have never sold a single card i have collected hence why i have thousands.  It terrible that people cant just do business in a fair way anymore. But i have to agree most people now a days just want theirs and screw over the next one without a care.  I dont even know how to navigate this site fully yet or i would come check out your lots you have for sale.  im mess around and see if i can figure it out.  Sorry but i feel your pain with the frustration of jagoffs getting theirs and moving on.

I just wanted to say that, despite a few negative experiences we've probably all had here, there is a fantastic community here on TCDb. 

There are quite a few members that are incredibly generous with their trades, time, and information. I hope you find that to be your experience as well.

There is always bad apples in a tree. With that being said, this is the best trading site I’m on. I’m by no means trying to take the spotlight from OP but, the thing that drives me up the wall is that people don’t leave feedback. I have gotten a couple of extra cards and I don’t shout them out because i feel like it would lose it value doing it. I however send an extra card to the next person that I interact with. Don’t let 1 bad interaction or day ruining a good experience. Sadly it’s the world we live in where people mostly think about themselves.

Wanted to add too. I am actually very reluctant to trading cards online but decided to try again. Looking at the members and amount of trades on this site was the deciding factor. 

My first trade online from a different site was with someone who never sent the cards on their end while I sent mine and tracking clearly shows they got it. Luckily they were all low valued cards.

Second trade again from another site was someone trying to scam me. I had my doubts and before things went further they got banned on the site.
