I'm sorry to see anyone upset especially when connected to a hobby.... I'm very new, joined in Jan 2023 and have 6 completed transactions.... I really hope those I dealt with are as happy as I am with our trades/sales.
Being new, what does PIF mean??? I just can't think of what it could possibly mean.... lol

The PIF politics are getting a little weird. Giving something to someone they did not ask you for can be nice. Giving something to someone they did not ask you for along with an obligation attached is not always nice. You can see this on some mafia movies/shows.

PIF = Pay It Forward.
Freebies, extras, etc.

Analog, I know how you feel. Every trade I make I try and send some sort of PIF because I am like you...I like sending cards to people that enjoy or need the card(s) to complete sets. I'm not mentioning names but what does trip my trigger sometimes is when I send someone a card(s) and they put it on their youtube and say "thanks very much for the cards, expect to see some in return. But I never see anything.
But I understand I sent them expecting nothing in return. So please don't mention anything else other than a thank you.
I do hope you reconsider and stay on the site; you are a big asset.

PIF means “pay it forward”. It’s essentially doing someone a kindness and hopefully that person does so for someone else, and on and on the cycle goes...
I’ll reach out in a minute because I have a Rice card from want list with your name on it.

I'm still pretty new at least to treading on this site. But personally if you like giving PIF, the act of giving should be the feel good thing. Not everyone will say thank you and that is expected. I mean yes, it would be nice though.

Although I agree with the sentiment, not everyone is wired the same way. I am more than happy to add a couple extras on trades that check a box for me. Hard to find card, a number of fav player cards, a trade obviously in my favor, or to trades that I may have drug my feet getting out to the mailbox. But not all of my trades include extras. My sent/receive numbers are heavily favored in the sent department (-750). Not counting all the extras sent. I am happy to pass on cards that I have no attachment to to someone that WANTS it. I hope you reconsider and stick around. It looks like you are appreciated by a number of us here and it would suck to lose you!!!
