Since I joined this site in 2016, I've been nothing but generous with my cards. I've sent well over $1000 worth of cards to people I've never even been in contact with before. I've tried to trade in my partner's benefit whenever possible. The card lots that I sell are all excellent values. Most of the people I've sent PIFs to have never sent anything to anyone else, according to the PIF thread, never mind me. On top of that, I've eaten a ton of $ in shipping costs. There is a very small circle of members that I would now consider interacting with now. Those people are also friendly and generous with their cards.
It took me this long to realize that most people are just selfish and you mean nothing to them once they've gotten what they wanted. I've got about 8 more lots that I'm going to try to sell. After that, I'm done with transactions here!
The point here is not to toot my own horn, but rather show, that most people wouldn't go out of their way for a simple kind gesture.
Thank you to that small circle of great members and to Admin as well!

Hey there, sorry to hear that you feel this way. Your lots are spectacular and you're right, they're of good value for those who are interested. Although not everybody is sending PIFs, I do find that there are many here who are quite friendly. Hopefully you will have continued success with your remaining lots and that the friendliness of those members you've interacted with continues in abundance.

I'm really sorry to hear that.
We've purchased several lots from you and have loved every card we got. There are quite a few members here that have inspired me to be generous with my trades, you included, and I'm sorry that you are going through these experiences.
Best of luck to you! It's been a pleasure.

Sorry to hear this. I know you sent me a killer bunch of Sox cards last year and I just bought some more, which I am happy to do. For mine, I'm not in to posting about my PIFs and I really want to do more on that end. I like to help folks out when I can.
Best to you

I hate to hear you are tired of the site. I can personally speak to the fact that when I send PIF/free or unexpected cards to others, I don't post it in a thread. Many of the members will send me a thank you message upon receiving but others don't. In most cases, I am fine helping others fill their collection wants for little or nothing since many have did so for me.

Matt Kenseth card collection is nearing 50% with over 2300 different cards. Always looking for the missing remainders to get to 100% completion.

I'm partially to blame for the way I'm feeling right now. I did too much, thinking that most people thought the same way I thought. I wanted to be a people pleaser and sometimes was taken advantage of. I have a really difficult time saying no to an offer.
The members who have responded to this thread so far, are not in that group of people who ask for more than what is reasonable. You've all been pleasant to work with, whether by trade or purchase.
@ CollectorKing23. I totally get that. Most of the time I'm not mentioned in the PIF thread, which doesn't bother me at all. Just a simple thank you in a message is nice.

I can understand being frustrated by not receiving a simple thank you. Going out of your way to send send somebody something and them showing little to no appreciation can be disappointing. I appreciate the PIF you sent me along with the lot I purchased. If this is the route you pursue best of luck with your future endeavors.

Thanks - TwinKiller. (Luke)

Hey, sorry you're feeling down about the site. I definitely enjoyed our only trade and back and forth banter.
I try not to have too much expectations of people when I send extras or a PIF. Just getting cards to people who need them makes me happy. Any word of thanks is an extra bonus.
Hope you stick around and that we can trade again. Only one trade match at this time, so maybe later!

I understand and have been there a few times in the last couple of years. For the same reasons. Then I ask myself "Why am I here" The answer is: "To get a few cards for me and get rid of a lot of cards". I have sent out over 8,000 and got in only 790 in six years. (Per completed my transactions)
Sorry to see you go even if we run in different collecting circles.
