Just to give your trade partner an example from his point of view: I am currently still waiting on cards that the other guy marked sent on 01/31. I'm not close to worrying about it, for many reasons. First, he's in Texas, and I'm sure their recent ice storm has caused all sorts of postal havoc. He's also a member with over 300 positive feedback that I have traded with before, so I there is a level of trust established. Finally, our last trade took over a month to complete as well! (Although in that instance it took that long for him to get his cards!) PWE mailings are fine, but they can take time. It's important to keep the lines of communication open, and in his case weekly rather than daily would be sufficient.

I have had the other kind of impatient trader. I had a member offer me a trade once and he revoked it after 8 hours stating he couldn’t wait any longer for me to respond. I’m glad because I don’t want to trade with somebody that impatient.

Complaining after 2 days is ridiculous. Any mail can get lost or delayed. I've had some PWEs take up to 3 weeks, but the vast majority get to the destination within a week. I weigh and stamp mine here and my postman picks them up. When the weather is good I'll walk to the PO.

That's the kind of trader who needs to be called out. Hopefully you didn't waste too much time going through it or countering (if you were aware of it at all).

Still waiting on one from Nov. 2022 and another from Jan. this year. While some take longer than others, I've never had one not show up. Over the years I've learned to be patient and not worry.

Over the years I have traded/sold and shipped PWE. It appears to me about 95% of the traders/buyers start getting worried around 4 weeks. Only a very few got worried sooner. (7 days or less) They are out there so we do have to work with them the best we can.

Yes, some of my PWE's arrive within 3-5 days depending on distance, some take 5-7 days. It's not unusual for some PWE's to take weeks or even longer to deliver.
It's on USPS's hands now, and the new guy should really evaluate his/her standards if he/she wants to have a pleasant experience on this site. I certainly wouldn't want to trade with someone who's going to be impatient and accuse me of lying (and perhaps even leave a negative feedback) just because they don't understand the system.

If you are really that impatient paid for shipping in a mailer with tracking. Then you have somewhat of an idea of where it is. Just let the other trader know that is what you want. They will do it for you.
I have had a few willing to pay more for shipping them what the cards were worth to me.
I did not receive a card that I really wanted and at the 3 week range I asked about it. We figured to give it another week. Sure enough it arrived just before 4 weeks were up. (posted marked the day he said he shipped). I was kicking myself for not having paid him for mailer with tracking for a week just knowing it was lost.
