I finally was able to enter a Detroit Tiger card. Usually they have all been entered by Iffie99 so I consider this a major achievement. It was 1997 Upper Deck #533 Bubba Trammell. How did that one slip by you?

No, not a Tigers team collector. Just a random scanner. But if I come across any SDs I will let you know. I am old dont even know what "PM" means.

I'm intrigued by ToppsTradeKing...was trying to force me to Skype to set up a trade, I'm not old, well apparently I am at 32 for PM goes way over my head, assuming it may mean post message? I just trust the people on this site that they wouldn't send me a crap card with bends unless I asked for it. Made a trade with someone who inquired about two cards, which I honestly told them one had a pen mark on it & the other definitely had a crease & just threw them in the deal for he still wanted them. Not down for video time...

PM = Private Message (aka, e-mail).
TTK also posted a message about people on this site being unfriendly (which I tried to respond to - had a nice lengthy response - and hit the wrong button and lost the whole thing), and I didn't find that at all when I started on here. Overly welcoming, no, but unfriendly, not that either. It's more of a community site, work to build it (as it's still in progress) and you will make friends. Put people in uncomfortable situations, and you won't.

I didn't become involved in this site for trading purposes. I have been here for several years and trading rarely came up until recently. I input cards and use the site as a great reference. Everyone I had contact with was very friendly. I notice some folks are simply using this as a trading site as they have entered zero cards. Again, I never saw this a trading site.

This site when I
found it seamed
more of a means to
help out card
collectors track
what they had.
That's what I use
it for. If anyone
wanted to trade
that would be great
in helping me
complete some sets.
I have so many
baseball cards with
most being 3x what
I have added to my
collection that I
don't have the time
to post my doubles
on here. But its
been a really good
site which is why I
have added some
things to the site.

I'm another one who didn't join for trading, but am very glad that is an option for those that want it. I had a bad experience trading a CD online a few years ago, so I just stopped trading in general. If I want something, I'll just look on ebay or some card site.
I have had nothing but a friendly experience on here, though I will admit, I didn't get the welcome mat rolled out for me. Then again, I didn't expect it, I only joined to catalog my card collection. After a while, I started participating in other things on here. Now I want to add anything I can to help the site out. It makes it easier to add cards to your collection when you know what the cards look like. It also helps when making a want list so you can see if you want the card. I hope that the site reaches 1 Million images by the end of the year.

Royal Card Review is my blog if you feel like checking it out, thanks if you do!- royalcardreview.blogspot.com/ In the process of updating my collection so don't trust any of my lists right now.
