I wasn't keeping track closely, but I happened to look today and realized I have 400 completed transactions here! I started trading here in March 2021, and I can't thank fellow traders at TCDb enough. It's such a fantastic community.
Pretty much everyone has been terrific and especially patient. When I first began, I used scotch tape instead of painter's tape for my first 30 or 40 trades, until a fellow TCDb member advised me otherwise. I appreciate those who didn't complain. I appreciate another early trader who walked me through the best ways to make sure the cards I was sending were well protected but wouldn't cost a great deal to mail.
I appreciate those who graciously responded to me countering, even though they probably felt their initial trade offer was more than fair. I appreciate those who sent cards to me in padded packages ... while my part of the trade came to them in a PWE. I appreciate those who politely answered my questions about the cards I was going to receive.
To be a positive member of the trading community here, I've tried to make sure my communication is complete and positive and friendly. I've tried to put my biggest trading wants on my profile page, but if traders really wanted something I had for trade, I've tried to add lots and lots of stuff to my Want list so that folks had options. Also, I'd say about 85 percent of those 400 completed transactions are trades others have offered me. So, in the future, I'm going to try to be better about making initial offers and not sitting back and have others do the work.
