I just completed a PWE trade, and there was evidence on the protective cardboard sleeve that it has been used in at least 5 TCDB trades already. I love the resourcefulness of all these traders to keep passing it along. I will be sure to do the same thing very soon to keep it circulating! Interestingly enough, the sleeve is not from the classic cereal box or pizza box -- it was from a box of 2022 Topps Heritage! Well-done!
Has anyone seen trade protectors with more trades on it?
Shoutout to traders on the sleeve so far: hiflew, bsiga, Fred, Dan, and someone whose name was completely sharpie-d out. :-)

I usually use a post it note to keep it "Clean" but this is cool too! I have been wanting to start a "Midnight was here" type of mark on it to see if it ever circulates back to me. I save all of mine to be recirculated

It's kind of like those old stickers that people used to have on their luggage. Or maybe the old "Where's George" website from way back when that tracked the journey of a dollar bill. I am happy to be a part of a cool journey.

Nothing makes me more happy "recycling" by reusing packaging. I had one trade where a member was unable to get to post office before the cards I sent arrived and received my trade in the same packaging I sent.

I am not really a trader, as I have only made a handful of them. But I have kept a snapcase and team bags. My most recent trade I reused a box, bubble wrap, and team bags.

I like the recycling too. I actually had one come back to me that had a prior trade markings that I had written. Crossed out, of course. It didn't come from the same trader either. I was happy to pass it on again.

I've played with the idea of trying to track PWE packing material and see how many members/states/etc it can visit.

Absolutely.
Also, some members have received cards in cardboard they already used to sent cards away. Not just a round trip, but three or four way random trips, they're pretty cool too.

Seen and reused a few like that. I have a small box next to my desk I keep cardboard for trades in. Why toss something like that already cut and ready to go?
Since I use small tabs to write the trade numbers on I don't add to the clutter on them but it's still fun to see trade after trade after trade all showing up. I might have to start just putting "Lildog7" somewhere in the mix when I see really good ones to leave my mark.

Just packed it up...it's on its way across the country from California to Sarasota. :-)
