I can't be the only one who tries to remove tape from received trades so I can re-use it for my outgoing trades. I stick bits of tape all along the perimter of my laptop which doesn't leave my living room chair. Any other good cheapskate suggestions out there?

I reuse cardboard and some envelopes that come in trades. Also if the stamps are unmarked, I will use those. I will also reuse team bags as well!

The flat rate padded envelope is roughly the same price as the flat rate medium box... and you can fit two medium boxes in a flat rate bubble envelope (or many other types of boxes). You have to order them from the USPS website though (but they are free).
If you are sending over 500ish cards, It is one of the best ways to do it.

How do you reuse unmarked stamps? Do you scotch tape them on?

I have tape laying all around to potentially reuse so I have no idea what you are referring to....

I think packing tape would be best just because it would cover more area.

I don't reuse tape, because it's kinda gross when you think of it. But anything else--cardboard, sleeves, pages, and those handy express mailers--those get reused for sure.

That's what I've done, probably got away with it 1 or 2 times. Then one day a PWE was returned with "DO NOT REUSE STAMPS" written on it..
