Back in the day one would think there's no way that there are that many Rolen cards, but it's a real and quite admirable number these days. Congrats!
Thanks! In 2004 and 2005 trading card companies went bonkers on making cards and parallels of those cards and parallels of the parallels, so that bumped his numbers up substantially. And now that he's knocking on the door at Cooperstown, Topps has really ramped up the sets in which they include him.

That is so cool and exactly what this crazy thing we do should be about. Not about flipping, making money or being your job. Collecting is a passion and you obviously have it. Congrats.
Thank you! I couldn't agree more! I've been in this marathon for a couple of decades now. I most likely would have gotten completely out of collecting if I was trying to make money doing it or trying to make it my job.

Congrats. Always enjoyed looking at your collection and how it was displayed on the website. I'm closing in on Marino #4,000 so I know the journey. It seems I get most of the cards I need from other Marino collectors who are selling their collections. Hard to find rare 90s cards anymore.
Thank you! I'm finding myself in a similar situation with tracking down new cards to add to my collection. The tough to find 90s stuff is absolutely skyrocketing. I'm hoping with Rolen's HOF trajectory, it'll unearth some more cards of his soon.

Congratulations! All those Phillies cards.... :) LOL
Thanks! There are a lot of great cards of Rolen in his Phillies jersey. Even a lot of the newer post-playing days stuff has him pictured in his Phillies uniform. While I do enjoy a good throwback, I'm a Cardinals fan first and foremost. I'm hoping that Topps will continue adding him to their newer releases and drop some nice patch autos of him in a Cards uni!

Congrats on a tremendous accomplishment! Nice dedication
Thanks! It's a culmination of over 20 years of laser focus with my collection. Without that focus, I'd probably try to buy anything that's shiny!

Indeed an incredible card for an incredible milestone! Congratulations and I really enjoyed your wonderful blog post as well!
Thanks! Card #3,000 is an absolute stunner! Scans don't do it any justice. I couldn't even capture everything in a photo or a video!

Congratulations! That is a very impressive # of different cards of a single player.
Thank you! I'm glad we're all cut from the same cloth here. When I showed my collection to my wife, she thought I may have some kind of mental illness. She has grown to appreciate my collection over the years though.
